About

We sign up for one job: so an accident doesn't also pull the rug out from under you.

baleset.biz is the information and quote-request site of Emánuel Dávid Tukacs, independent insurance broker – specialising in personal accident insurance: individual, family, and company-group cover. I work in person in Budapest and Kecskemét if you wish, and online and by phone nationwide.

Imi's been through it, but he's in good hands – Dr. Ábel focuses on the recovery, the cover on the shortfall.

Who's behind this site?

I'm Emánuel Dávid Tukacs, an independent insurance intermediary (broker). As a broker, I don't represent one insurer – I act on the client's behalf: I request competing personal accident insurance offers from several insurers for your family or your company's team, and hand them over in one clear, common table – with amounts, terms, strengths and weaknesses. I assess the need and inform you about the options – the decision is always the client's.

My activity is supervised by the Magyar Nemzeti Bank: my registration number is 114063010758, which anyone can verify in the MNB's institution search. I carry out the intermediation as a partner of Eurorisk Biztosítási Alkusz Kft. My main site: tukacs.com (in Hungarian).

Why personal accident insurance?

Because few insurance products give this much this simply – and few remain this underused. Personal accident insurance pays pre-set, fixed amounts for well-defined events: fractures, hospital days, surgery, and – most importantly – permanent disability. It doesn't dispute the amount of the loss: it works from a table, so it's fast and predictable. In the months of recovery, that's exactly what's needed: money that arrives just when income drops and costs rise. As our homepage's "Slippery Day" mini-game shows too: you can't always avoid the fall – but you can soften the landing. The details are in Insights, our library of 92 accessible articles.

Two legs: family and company

baleset.biz deliberately stands on two legs. On the personal side, the focus is on individual and family-package cover: children, athletes, motorcyclists, people doing physical work – anyone whose everyday life carries the risk. On the company side, it's group personal accident insurance: a benefit with typically more favourable tax treatment than wages, that can be arranged even for a small team, and one employees genuinely value. The two are the same product family, seen from two angles – and I'm equally at home in both.

Three principles I stand by

What I am NOT – an important distinction

What does this cost you?

I don't charge the client a fee for the advice or the competitive comparison – the insurer pays the broker's commission. That's how this market normally works, and I talk about it openly, because trust is built on it: you know exactly what your broker lives on, and that the right to decide always stays with you.

Strong backing: Eurorisk

I carry out the intermediation work as a partner of Eurorisk Biztosítási Alkusz Kft. Eurorisk has operated since 1993 and holds an MNB licence as a brokerage – its backing means baleset.biz is supported by mature professional and legal infrastructure, while you keep working with the same reachable person throughout.

Other sites in the family

Not every question around accidents is a personal accident insurance question – and not all of them belong here. I write about illness-related risks and healthcare organisation on egeszseg.biz (in Hungarian), about life cover and savings-based life insurance on elet.biz (in Hungarian), about company benefit packages as a whole on csoportos.biz (in Hungarian) and vallalkozas.biz (in Hungarian), and about employer liability on felelosseg.biz (in Hungarian) – here, everything is about personal accident insurance.
